Hey, Christa!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Disney Dining Plans are fantastic because you get wonderful food and don’t have to worry about cooking or cleaning. We are all appreciative of Mickey and the gang for taking care of those chores.
The answer to your question is "yes, if" and depends on a few of issues. First, Disney Dining Plans are only available for Guests of Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Second, if you make your reservations through Disney directly, an authorized Disney Travel specialist or a third party vacation reseller such as Expedia then you should contact them to see if you may add the dining plan. Some vacation packages are very specific and may not allow a Disney Dining Plan to be added. Lastly, if you are allowed to add a Disney Dining Plan, it must be added by 72 hours before your arrival date. We booked a vacation package the same day as we arrived and could not add a dining plan.
Disney Dad Tip: Even if you choose not to add a Disney Dining Plan, I would begin making
Advance Dining Reservations. You may reserve a dining experience 180 days in advance.
Please let me know if there is anything else you need help with to make your vacation special.
Christa, enjoy making and eating many Magical Memories!
