    How do I add a dining package to my travel, I'm working on pricing

    Hello, Jacqueline! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. 

    My family and I have enjoyed using the Disney Dining Plan on past vacations. It is convenient and worry-free to have everything paid for ahead of time. I really enjoyed being able to order the most expensive menu item if I wanted and not even think twice about the price. I know many other people really enjoyed the Disney Dining Plan as well. With that being said, Jacqueline, at this time the Disney Dining Plan has been temporarily suspended. It did not return to us when Walt Disney World reopened last summer and still has not yet found its way back to us. There has been no news whether or not it will return. When those announcements are made, you'll be able to find all of those details over on the Disney Parks Blog. If the Disney Dining Plan returns before your vacation, I am sure that you'll be able to call and add it to your existing reservation. 

    Until the Disney Dining Plan returns, I think a great way to put money aside for splurgy meals, snacks and drinks while at Walt Disney World is to pick up Disney Gift Cards between now and then. This is similar to the Disney Dining Plan in the sense that the money is already taken from your personal bank account and has to be used for something at Walt Disney World. Knowing I have to spend the Disney Gift Cards while on vacation sure does make it a lot easier to enjoy an extra snack here and there versus paying for it out of pocket. You can find Disney Gift Cards at most retail locations. I like to add one to my cart when I am grocery shopping each week. Even picking up a $10.00 one here and there can really add up. You can manage all of your Disney Gift Cards via the website, each gift card can hold up to $1000.00. You can combine the ones you purchase between now and your trip so it's not too many to manage.

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
