I want to add a day to my trip. How do I do that? I have reservations at the yacht club.

    Hiya Robert,

Welcome to planDisney; I am happy that you are here, and I can answer your question today! Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is such a fantastic place to stay. I love that you can walk to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios from your resort. I also love its proximity to Disney’s BoardWalk! One of my favorite dining locations is Trattoria al Forno which is located on Disney’s BoardWalk; being that close means pasta for every meal for me. I don’t blame you for wanting to extend your trip!

Just a few things to remember before adding an additional day to a Theme Park Ticket:

    1. If you have already used your one-day ticket, you cannot add a day. You would need to purchase a new Theme Park Ticket in this instance.
    2. The ticket must not be a special offer ticket.

If your Theme Park Ticket doesn’t fit into either of these categories, there are three options you can use to modify your Theme Park Ticket.

    My Disney Experience Mobile App:
Once you open the app, click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner. Next, click “Tickets and Passes” and select your current one-day ticket. If your ticket can be upgraded through the mobile app, you will see an option to change or modify the ticket. Complete the on-screen steps, and voila, you will have changed your Theme Park ticket from a one-day to a two-day.

In-Person at Guest Relations (located at Disney Springs and all four Theme Parks).

    Call at Cast Member
You can always try reaching out to a Cast Member at Existing Tickets (407-934-7639) to get an extra day added to your Theme Park ticket. Unfortunately, the time to speak to a Cast Member has increased lately, so I would prioritize this option low on your list at this time. If you choose this option, I recommend that you try making your call either early in the morning or later in the evening during the weekdays. This will more than likely lead to shorter wait times than peak hours.

Once you’ve added an additional day to your Theme Park Tickets, don’t forget to get an extra day added to your reservation at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort or any of the other magical resorts at Walt Disney World Resort (this can be done either online through My Disney Experience or over the phone with a Cast Member). Also be sure to book a Park Pass Reservation for your new day! If there is anything else I can do to help you, please let me know.

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
