Hi Kimberly,
Welcome to planDisney! There's nothing quite like the magic of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. With multi-day theme park tickets, you have the flexibility to explore at your own pace, whether that means diving into immersive attractions, savoring world-class dining, or soaking in all the little Disney details. And for even more adventure, the Park Hopper Option lets you visit multiple parks on the same day, perfect for catching TRON Lightcycle / Run in the morning at Magic Kingdom and finishing with Luminous The Symphony of Us at EPCOT!
Now, Kimberly, if you're thinking, "I need more time with the Mouse!"—no worries! Adding a day to your ticket is simple. If you haven't started using your tickets yet, you can modify them online through your My Disney Experience account. Go to "My Plans," scroll down to the "My Plans, Reservations & Tickets" section, and select "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker." Select your ticket and follow the prompts to make changes or purchase additional days. The cost will be based on your new total number of days and the current pricing for those dates.
Already at Walt Disney World and feeling like you can't leave yet? I get it! To extend your ticket, you can visit Guest Relations at any theme park or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. Just make sure to do this before your ticket expires.
Since you're adding more time, let's maximize it! Depending on how you like to enjoy the parks, here are some ideas:
- Lightning Lane Strategy: If you love thrill rides, Lightning Lane Multi Pass is a game-changer, especially at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, where it can help you snag return times for Space Mountain, Slinky Dog Dash, and more. For EPCOT and Animal Kingdom, you might prefer Individual Lightning Lanes for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind or Avatar Flight of Passage.
- Must-Do Attractions: Prioritize what you missed! If it's a relaxed day, take a scenic ride on the Disney Skyliner and soak in the resort atmosphere. If you want more thrills, rope drop Expedition Everest or Rock 'n' Roller Coaster.
- Dining Reservations to Snag: For last-minute availability, check hard-to-get spots like Cinderella's Royal Table, Space 220, or 'Ohana. If you're a foodie, EPCOT's Chefs de France or Via Napoli are solid picks.
- Best Quick Bites: Don't skip the Totchos at Woody's Lunch Box, the Cheshire Cat Tail in Magic Kingdom, or the Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie at Trolley Car Café!
- Resort Day Magic: Sometimes, the best Disney days happen outside the parks. If you want a break, lounge by your Disney Resort pool, ride the monorail loop for DOLE Whip at the Polynesian, or explore Disney's BoardWalk.
Adding an extra day is always a great idea—it just means more time to make memories! If you need more planning tips, we're always here at planDisney.
See you real soon!
