Hi there! We would like to add a day pass at Disneyland parks for our Disneyland stay coming up. We would like to add November 1st to have a day pass to Disneyland and California Adventure for the four of us, could you help with this? Thank you!

Welcome, Jessica! We are so happy you found your way to planDisney! You are going to love celebrating Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort as the festive fun can be found throughout the Happiest Place on Earth!

It sounds like you currently have a resort-only stay at the Disneyland Resort planned for the end of October and are looking to add a One-Day Park Hopper theme park ticket for all the Guests in your family. I hope I got that right! While I'm not able to book this for you, I'm happy to walk you through purchasing those tickets. The best way to do this is on the Disneyland website by logging into your account and heading to the "Parks and Tickets" tab on the top navigation bar. Select "Theme Park Tickets" from the drop-down menu, and the site will walk you through a few prompts where you will choose "Standard Theme Park Ticket", the number of days, the number of tickets, and if you would like a One Park Per Day or a Park Hopper. Once those selections are made, you will be taken to the calendar where you can select November 1st. After that selection, you will be asked to choose your starting park for the day. With a Park Hopper, this is the park where you will begin your day, with hopping available after 1 p.m. There will be optional add-ons, including Disney Genie+. Personally, I always add Genie+ to my day as it gives me access to Lightning Lanes on select attractions which save time and allow for some extra pixie-dusted minutes! It also includes unlimited digital downloads of all the Disney PhotoPass photos captured that day, so you can be sure to remember the magic! Once those selections are made, continue to check out and those tickets are yours! As part of the process, you will have also made your theme park reservation, another requirement for entry.

If you decide you'd like to purchase a multi-day ticket, I highly recommend calling our Guest Services team that handles Disneyland Resort Vacation Packages to discuss your options. A vacation package includes hotel accommodation and theme park tickets along with some Magical Extra Savings at select restaurants throughout Downtown Disney District! Just something to consider!

I do want to mention that the Halloween Time festivities end on October 31st. While some will linger, like Jack Skellington's takeover of Haunted Mansion Holiday, if you are really looking to get into the happily haunted spirit, you may want to think about moving your one park day to earlier in your trip. Not to say that enjoying your resort and all the offerings of the Downtown Disney District won't have you feeling the Halloween spirit too! If you have little ones in your party, be sure to inquire about Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit! A fun scavenger hunt all around Downtown Disney District that does not require a theme park ticket!

Jessica, I hope this was helpful! If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney.

    Magic awaits!
