Would like to add a day of a park visit to existing reservations.

    Hi Karen,

Welcome to planDisney! I am excited to see that you are planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!

If there is availability, you may certainly be able to add another day to an existing reservation. If you booked a vacation package and that package is linked in My Disney Experience, you should be able to to login, click on My Plans, and then scroll down. If you booked a vacation package, you should be able to click on Change that Reservation. If the additional night is available, you should just be able to add it.

Keep your eye on the Special Offers as it gets closer to your visit. If a new special offer comes available, you can also try to change your reservation to take advantage of it. Although there is no guarantee it will be applicable, it is worth trying! We are always on a budget so I always check the Special Offers periodically, even after we have booked our vacation package.

Also, keep checking the operational updates, especially with respect to the advanced dining reservation window. Currently, that window is 60-days in advance. Given that you will be visiting during The Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort, I advise you to make advanced dining reservations. This time of year is always quite busy so you will appreciate having a few definitive places to dine.

Karen, I am so glad that you are thinking about adding another day to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. If you need theme park tickets, just remember to add those as well. And check the theme park reservation availability calendar first to make sure there is theme park availability for the additional day of your visit!

    Magic and memories,
