Hiya, Jamee!
I’m not surprised you want to extend the magic of your Disneyland Resort. That’s a terrific way to enhance your vacation experience.
To upgrade Disneyland Resort
theme park tickets, you will need to pay a visit to a main entrance ticket booth. Be sure to have your photo ID and your original form of payment with you, just in case. You will pay the current price for the new tickets minus the original amount paid for the existing tickets. In some cases when the tickets are purchased directly from Disney, it may be possible to call the
Ticket phone line or initiate a chat within the
Disneyland mobile app. But the in-person upgrade at the ticket booths will be the most straightforward.
ALERT! ALERT! Before upgrading theme park tickets, make sure that
reservations for your preferred theme park are available on the date that you wish to visit. For most multi-day tickets, note that tickets are
valid up to 13 days after the first use. So after using one day of a non-promotional multi-day ticket, be sure to schedule or reschedule your other available park days within that window of validity.
Tony’s Tip: If you plan to return to sunny
Southern California again within the next 12 months, you may find even more value in upgrading your tickets to Disneyland Resort
Magic Key passes. Use the Disneyland app to upgrade your tickets on the last day of your visit to the theme parks while the tickets are still valid. For your next visits to the Disneyland Resort, you’ll enjoy Magic Key holder benefits, such as
discounts on dining and shopping. And you’ll join a
vibrant community of fellow Disney Parks fans.
