Hey there, Barak. To all who come to planDisney, welcome. We're so glad you stopped by to ask us this question. Hooray! Your visit to the Disneyland Resort is practically here and I'm delighted to help.
Oh boy! There's so much to do and see around the resort (especially during this time of year) that I think it's a great idea to add an extra day of magic to your stay. First, check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to ensure that they day you'd like to add on is available for reservations. Next, you can
upgrade your wholly unused theme park ticket to add an extra day as long as the cost of the new ticket is greater than or equal to the price paid for the original ticket. To do this, you can reach out to a friendly Cast Member at the
Tickets phone line for assistance. Once you've added the extra day, make sure to make your theme park reservation. If you are also looking to add an extra day to your Disneyland Resort Hotel reservation, you will also need to
reach out to a Cast Member who can help update your existing hotel reservation.
The
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort are in full swing and I'm so excited for you to experience all of the merriment. One of my favorite things to do during this festive time of year is to sample as much of the holiday fare over at the
Disney Festival of Holidays. I always check the
Foodie Guide and make my list (and check it twice) of must-try eats. There's also plenty of
seasonal offerings around the resort during this time of year as well. A crowd favorite (and also one of my favorites) is the Mickey Gingerbread cookie that can be found at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe. With an extra day, you'll be able to try even more of these holiday eats and treats.
Barak, I hope this is helpful as you are getting ready for your visit. Come back and share any other questions that we can help with as you continue to prepare. Here's wishing you a holly jolly time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
