How fun! I'm excited to hear that you want to add a day to your upcoming trip. It gives you even more time to enjoy an extra Mickey Bar (or three!). I find the easiest way to add a day to your reservation is by
calling Disney directly. A friendly Cast Member can quickly let you know if there's availability. If your current
Disney Resort hotel doesn't have an opening, you can always do a split stay, spending a night at another Disney Resort hotel and then returning to your original reservation the next day. I love doing this because it gives me a chance to experience a new resort I might not have tried before.
Staying at a Disney Resort hotel offers some
amazing benefits. My favorite is being able to reserve all your Lightning Lanes 7 days before your trip begins for your entire stay! This is a game-changer, especially if attractions are your priority. I also love the
complimentary transportation. With gas prices these days, who doesn't love saving a little money and being whisked away on your magical adventure by a friendly Cast Member? It truly feels like your own magic carpet ride.
Early Theme Park Entry is another fantastic perk. It's how I maximize my mornings and experience as many attractions as possible, so I can relax and enjoy the rest of my day.
