We would like to add a couple of nights (3 days) at a Disney resort to our Florida vacation in February but it seems like the minimum number of days for tickets is 4. Why? We would be wasting one day as we will only be there for 3 days and 2 nights.

    Hi Dan!

Welcome to planDisney!  Whenever my travels take me around Central Florida, I can't pass up a chance to visit Walt Disney World Resort!  Adding a few days at Disney to your travel plans is as simple as saying "bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!"

Dan, sometimes there are special offers available that involve a minimum number of nights or days of park tickets to be purchased.  Currently, there is a ticket offer for Canadian residents that has a 4-day minimum.  If you're looking at this special offer, you won't have the option to do less than 4 days, however, if you search for a vacation package or purchase separate park tickets outside of this deal, you should see the option to customize the number of days you'd like to include.  If you have any issues while trying to book a vacation that is practically perfect in every way for you and your family, you can always call a Cast Member for additional assistance!

When planning your stay, remember that no matter which hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection you choose, you'll be able to enjoy several great benefits such as complimentary resort transportation, Early Theme Park Entry, and free parking at your resort and the theme parks if you have a car during your stay.  New for 2025, you'll also be able to enjoy a complimentary visit to one of Disney's water parks on your check-in day!  To make the most of this perk, I recommend taking advantage of Disney's Online Check-In service and leaving your bags at Bell Services.  From your Disney resort hotel, you can take a day bag and head over to the water park for a SPLASH-tacular start to your vacation!

Dan, I hope this information has been helpful and that you enjoy a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World Resort!  If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!

    Happy Planning!
