How do I add a childs ticket to multiple devices for the Disney Magic Mobile service?

    Hi JD, welcome to planDisney!

Disney MagicMobile passes are a convenient way to tap into the magic of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I change my Disney MagicMobile pass design more than I care to admit, but my current design features a Mickey snowman and animated snowflakes because I really do wanna build a snowman!

Children under the age of 13 cannot have their own My Disney Experience accounts. Instead, an adult creates an account profile for a child that is housed in their account. The adult that creates the account profile is the person that officially manages their plans. Other adults in the child's traveling party can view and make plans for the child as long as they are connected as Family & Friends. My panelist pal Kaitlin recently shared the steps for adding a child to another adult's Family & Friends List.

The managing adult is the only person that can use their My Disney Experience mobile app to download a child's Disney MagicMobile pass to their device (three small lines at the bottom right of the home page --> Disney MagicMobile). Disney MagicMobile passes can be downloaded to eligible iPhones, Apple Watches, and Google Pay enabled Android phones.

Once a child's Disney MagicMobile pass has been created, it can only be shared through iMessage with other iPhones or Apple Watches. The recipient also must be stored as a contact. Start the sharing process by clicking "Select Passes to Share" from the Disney MagicMobile section of the My Disney Experience mobile app.

When one device is used to scan multiple Disney MagicMobile passes at a touchpoint, one of the passes will automagically scan if Express Mode is enabled. After that, you'll have to scroll to scan the next pass.

If you need a backup plan, JD, other methods of entry are MagicBands and admission cards. On a recent trip, my daughter lost her MagicBand. We got her an admission card at Guest Relations so she had something to hold when we tapped in at Lightning Lane entrances. Traveling with kids teaches you to be flexible and, most importantly, to have fun!

Have fun making memories with the child in your life, JD! Please return to planDisney with any other trip-planning questions.

    Choose magic,
