Can I add my child ticket to my reservation even though it says there are no reservations available for a specific day. My wife and I have a reservation to access the parks but it was blocked before we could add our son.

Greetings and welcome to planDisney, David. Thanks for stopping by to share this question with us.

Oh, bother! I'm sorry to hear that you weren't able to get a theme park reservation for your son, David. Unfortunately, you can only make one theme park reservation per theme park ticket and would not be able to add your son to your existing reservation. I'm so sorry and wish I had better news to share with you.

What you can do is continue to check the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar for a reservation to open up. Guests' plans can often change and you might see an opening at the last minute - sometimes even the night before. I'm looking at availability right now and see that Disney California Adventure Park is available for reservations (subject to change) for 1-Park Per Day and Park Hopper tickets. The Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend also kicks off with Disneyland Yoga this Thursday, January 11th, which I suspect is making the parks a little busier this upcoming week.

Well, David, I'm sorry to deliver this not-so-magical news. I will be sending all the pixie dust your way and wishing on an evening star in the hopes that a reservation opens up for you and your family to enjoy a magical day at the Happiest Place on Earth.
