Hiya, Lisa,
How exciting for you to be looking for an opportunity to multiply the fun onboard your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation. I’m happy to share information about how that might be possible.
In many cases, it is possible to add another passenger to an existing Disney Cruise Line reservation. First, if a
travel agent helped book your sailing reservation, only your agent may work with Disney Cruise Line to make any significant modifications that may be desired or required. Similarly,
Disney Vacation Club members who
booked a cruise through DVC Member Services must contact Member Services to add or remove passengers.
If you booked your Disney Cruise Line reservation yourself and your reservation is
eligible for modifications, you may
change your booking through the
My Reservations page. Or you may
call Disney Cruise Line during their regular operating hours.
Note that there may be restrictions or conditions associated with making certain modifications to an existing cruise reservation. For example, if the
muster location for your stateroom is already full, adding another passenger may not be possible, even if your specific
stateroom category appears to have additional capacity. Also, passenger fares, fees, and taxes associated with adding a new passenger will normally be at the current prevailing rate for your cruise and stateroom category, which may be higher than when you first booked your reservation.
I hope things work out wonderfully for expanding the magic of your Disney Cruise Line vacation, Lisa. If you have any more questions or would like tips and recommendations related to any aspect of your cruise, I hope you’ll visit us at planDisney again soon. It’s a pleasure to do what we can to help make cruising more enjoyable for fellow cruisers.
Bon voyage, Lisa!
