How do you add a celebration to a disneyworld dining reservation?

Hi there, Nicola! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for stopping by with your question. I'm so excited to see you here today!

If you're going to be celebrating a birthday, an anniversary, a graduation, or basically anything else during your magical vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort, you will want to shout it out loud for everyone to hear! I can tell you from experience that there is nothing better than celebrating life's biggest moments at the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Nicola, even though there isn't any way for you to pre-add a celebration to your dining reservations through the My Disney Experience mobile app just yet, you will actually be able to get it done once you're physically at the Walt Disney World Resort! The way this works is super simple. All you need to do is check in through the app when you're ready to be seated, and the app will take you through the process of adding your celebrations. If you have any trouble using the app, however, you can always head to the host stand at the entrance of the restaurant to check in, where you'll be able to let the Cast Members know about your celebrations in person!

On that note, I would also like to take this moment to encourage you to head to any Guest Relations location or merchandise shop throughout the Resort to get a complimentary celebration button. These are so fun, and you'll love hearing Cast Members and other Guests congratulate you all day long!

I hope that my answer helped clarify things for you, Nicola. Please don't hesitate to come back with any other questions you might have!

    See you real soon,
