    Can I add California adventure to my existing Disneyland ticket

    I’m delighted to see you’re interested in upgrading your existing one-park ticket to a Park Hopper. In general, you should be able to do so, provided you’ve purchased your ticket directly from Disneyland Resort (on the website or the Disneyland Mobile App) and your current ticket is unused (it has not been scanned at the gate for entry yet). If your ticket is purchased as part of a vacation package, or through a third-party vendor (like AAA or through a discount program for students or employees), you may encounter issues with upgrading.

    If your ticket is eligible for upgrade, you can give it a try to upgrade to a Park Hopper on the Disneyland Mobile App. Let me briefly walk you through the process. Once you’re logged into your Disney account on the app, tap the three horizontal line icon on the bottom right corner to bring up the menu. Tap on “My Tickets & Passes”, then select the ticket you wish to upgrade. Choose the Park Hopper option, if available, and follow the prompts for payment. You’ll just need to pay the price difference to complete your transaction. You’ll receive a confirmation email when your transaction has been processed. Just a quick note: please be sure to confirm your theme park reservation since Stitch sometimes likes to wreak havoc. If for some reason, the upgrade “resets” your ticket, you may need to make another theme park reservation for the date you wish to visit. Since not every ticket is equal, if you’re not able to upgrade on the Disneyland Mobile App, you may need to contact Disneyland Resort to speak with a Cast Member or do so in person at the Main Entrance.
