Hey there, Kayla. Thanks for stopping by
planDisney to chat about your room reservation at Walt Disney World.
Kayla, a standard room rate includes 2 Guests over the age of 18 and anyone else in your party that is under the age of 18. If you are seeing a discrepancy in your bill from what you were quoted, this might be the reason. The fee for extra adults in the room varies based on what level of Walt Disney World Resort Hotel that you stay at.
- Value Resort Hotel - $15.00 per additional adult per night
- Moderate Resort - $25.00 per additional adult per night
- Deluxe Resort - $35.00 per additional adult per night
I do want to mention that if you are staying in a family suite found at a few of the value resorts or a Deluxe Villa Resort those additional charges for extra adults do not apply. Depending on where you are planning on staying and for how long, those extra fees can really add up. It might be worth the time to look up some of those family suites and Deluxe Villa options to see if it would work out in your favor budget-wise. You can find
family suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort and Disney's All-Star Music Resort. Villas are located at several of the more upscale resorts on Walt Disney World property, you can find a
full list of them here.
I can imagine that that additional charge took you by surprise. Hopefully, you have plenty of time to rework your plans if that's what you desire. If you have any other questions please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have a great day!
