Hi there, Marcus! I’m so excited for you to embark on your
Disney Cruise Line vacation in just a few months. It’s going to be positively fabulous. I recently went on my first cruise about a month ago, and I already can’t wait for my next one!
Your fare on Disney Cruise Line
includes all of your meals for both adults and children. There are, however, adult-exclusive
premium dining experiences available onboard that can be booked once your
designated booking window opens and your cruise is paid in full. For first-time cruisers, this window opens 75 days before your sail date, while returning Guests may book even earlier. You pay for these experiences at the end of the meal. And while
a variety of soft drinks are included with your meals and available at beverage stations, alcoholic beverages are not included and are charged individually as you order them. A touch of luxury never goes out of fashion.
Some of our favorite venues when we were aboard the
Disney Destiny were
the lounges. And if you ask Cruella herself, she would tell you that a proper cruise calls for a little indulgence. Whether it’s a perfectly crafted cocktail or a stylish evening in one of the ship’s lounges, this is your moment to sip something fabulous and enjoy the scene. The first thing I said when I entered the
Haunted Mansion Parlor was, "I’m never leaving." The word immersive doesn’t even begin to cover it. The drinks, the atmosphere, and the Imagineering were all so well done.
And it probably won’t surprise you that our next favorite was
DeVil’s, Cruella’s exquisitely themed lounge. In fact, it’s the one we frequented the most. We especially enjoyed Treble-Making with Cruella, where we got to collaborate with everyone in the lounge on a brand-new theme song celebrating her fashionable wretchedness. But even if you’re not sailing on the Destiny, each ship has its own unique haunts, and you’re bound to find your favorite.
And
Palo Steakhouse, a premium dining location, was incredible. Some ships offer Palo Steakhouse, while others feature
Palo, which Guests have been raving about since the early days of Disney Cruise Line. After all, even Cruella knows the finer things in life are never meant to be ordinary.
