Hello there, Gillian!
Welcome to
planDisney, and thanks for stopping by to ask us a question. I’m thrilled to hear you have a visit to the
Disneyland Resort coming up soon!
Yes, you should be able to add an additional day to your existing
theme park ticket by paying the difference between the ticket you already purchased and the price of the upgraded multi-day ticket. You can make this change by visiting a Main Entrance Ticket Booth located in the Esplanade between the two parks at the resort, or you can call the ticket helpline at (714) 781-4636 to speak with a Cast Member who can assist you.
Have you considered adding the
Park Hopper option to your ticket as well, Gillian? This would give you access to both
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park throughout each day of your visit, with the privilege of moving back and forth between the two adjacent theme parks to maximize your time. The main entrances of the parks face each other and are just a minute or two apart on foot, which makes park hopping so quick and easy! It’s really a great way to fit as much magic into your days as possible, especially when you check the wait times available in the
Disneyland mobile app and experience your must-do
attractions when the queues are shorter.
I hope this information helps, Gillian, and that your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth is a dream come true! Please feel free to
write back and send us more questions as you put the finishing touches on your vacation.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
