Hello Edward!
Welcome aboard! Can I first say what an awesome son-in-law you are? I really like that you are taking charge and making all the plans for your in-laws on your Disney cruise. How very thoughtful of you!
Sorry that things have not been seamless in lining up all the plans while onboard and ashore. What may be posing a problem is that certain premium experiences that require reservations in advance are based on the highest
Castaway Club level in each stateroom. If your relatives are new to Disney cruising, then the time that they can book these reservations would be later than someone who had sailed on Disney Cruise Line before.
For example, if you have a higher Castaway Club level than they do (say you are Gold and they are Silver), then their
advance booking window may not have opened yet to make these reservations. That is my first guess as to what is causing the challenge. So I recommend that you
contact a Disney Cruise Line representative and they should be able to figure out what is happening.
It’s also helpful if the
reservations are all linked so that it will be easier to align all your activities and entertainment as well as your rotational dining.
Maybe this is a starting point and you will quickly get to the bottom of what is going on. If you can provide me some more information as to what is happening, I’d be more than happy to try and help further. Are you trying to book
dining reservations at Palo,
Port Adventures, or spa treatments at
Senses Spa and Salon? What are the Castaway Club levels for your stateroom and for your in-laws?
Wishing you the best of luck getting all this ironed out in advance of your voyage. Have the most magical time as a family on your adventure at sea!
