Hi again, Kaysea! Thanks for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel for more advice on your travel planning!
One of my all-time favorite trips to the Disneyland Resort was during the first weekend in November so I’d love to share some tips for visiting during this time! The first thing you should know is that this week is usually right in between the end of Halloween Time and before the start of the
Holidays. This means that you will get to enjoy some seasonal holiday décor as they start transitioning the parks. We were able to get a great photo in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle and it was already decked out with snow, garland, and glittering decorations.
Additionally, since some folks delay their trips until the official start of the Holidays, this might translate into slightly lighter crowd levels. I distinctly remember walking on to several attractions late one afternoon because the crowds just happened to be very light that day. Plus, the weather is just about perfect! You will probably need a light jacket in the mornings and evenings, but plan on shorts and t-shirts for the rest of the time.
This time of year also brings my favorite occasion: Dapper Day! While not an official Disney event, lots of people participate simply by dressing up in their finest attire and touring the parks. It makes for excellent people watching and everyone is welcome to dress their best. You can also get some excellent rates at the
Disneyland Resort Hotels and on theme park tickets if you plan to participate in the event. Check out the Dapper Day website for complete details.
I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, please visit us again!
