Hi Sarah,
Thank you for stopping by
planDisney with your great question about your upcoming vacation in just a few weeks. Can you believe it? It's almost here!
I'm sorry you have had difficulty with understanding how to rent a stroller in advance, let me help you sort it out so you can be off making other Magical plans. Here is the link that you are referring to about
Stroller Rental at the Walt Disney World Resort. The pricing you see is for stroller rentals in each of the theme parks and Disney Springs. These particular strollers are rented daily on a first-come, first-served basis and remain in the theme parks or Disney Springs and may not be taken from the area in which it was rented. Although you are able to purchase a multi-day rental, you cannot do that in advance and must wait until you rent your stroller for the first time. Be sure to keep your receipt so you can show it when you return to pick up another stroller on another day, or if you pick another one up at another location the same day.
However, if you scroll down to the bottom of the page for
Stroller Rental you will see information and a link to a Disney Featured Provider for strollers, wheelchairs, and ECVs. If you click on that link, you will be taken to an outside vendor and will see availability to rent many other options of strollers. These strollers are available to rent in advance for multiple days. Not only can you reserve this type of stroller in advance for multiple days, but you can also take it anywhere you go and are not limited in using it just while you are in the theme parks or Disney Springs. Additionally, if you are a Disney Resort hotel Guest, the Disney Featured Provider will work with your Disney Resort hotel to manage your pickup and delivery of the stroller.
As a mom of 4 kiddos, in the past I have experienced quite a bit of stroller rental at the Walt Disney World Resort and have found that renting strollers for use outside of the theme parks and Disney Springs was so much easier than renting day by day. Also, pickup and delivery of my strollers couldn't have been easier when doing so through my Disney Resort hotel. Typically, Bell Services will be the place where you pick your stroller up at the start of your vacation and return it at the end.
Finally, since you will be visiting with a little one, I wanted to give you this guide for
Planning for Preschool Kids & Little Ones. There is a lot of useful information in that link, including information about
Baby Care Centers and
Rider Switch service, and I hope you have time to look through it before your vacation.
See Ya Real Soon,
Brenda
