This is actually 2 questions #1- If i use this site to book my vacation is the whole payment due up front or can i break it up into a few payments? #2 The castle inn says across the street, is it close enough to the entrance gate for us to walk?

Hi, Katrina! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am so glad that you are researching vacation package options on the Disneyland Resort website. Booking a package is the easiest way to purchase your accommodations, tickets, and more all with one transaction. When you book a vacation package, either at a Disneyland Resort Hotel or a Good Neighbor Hotel, a $200 down payment is required at the time of booking. After that, you can make payments in any amount and at any time as long as your entire package is paid in full 30 days before your arrival date. You can also choose to pay more than the $200 down payment when you book to lessen future payments. It’s really quite flexible!

I took a look at the map and the Castle Inn & Suites is a little over half a mile to the Disneyland Resort area if you walk up South Harbor Boulevard. So it’s certainly a doable walk if everyone in your party is up to the task and should take about 10-15 minutes. Another option, if you stay at the Castle Inn, is to head in the opposite direction and walk to the Toy Story parking lot and take the shuttle to the parks. It might not save you much time, but could definitely help take some stress off of tired legs.

I hope this information was helpful. Please return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions!
