Hi Garra!
I'm so glad that you decided to visit with your questions.
I took my son for his first visit at precisely 8 months of age - and I have to tell you - he had a fantastic time! There are many attractions that the whole family can enjoy together at all four parks. I've included a link for you which lists
ALL of the
attractions and shows at Walt Disney World that are intended for 'All Ages' - meaning that there is no height restriction. Take a look and you'll see that there is plenty for your young one to enjoy with you!
As far as
Resort Accommodations go, there are many options to suit your travel party. As a party of 5 including an infant, you'll be able to be accommodated in just 1 resort room with a complimentary Pack 'n' Play provided for your little one. If you require more than 2 beds for the adults, consider a Family Suite at Disney's All-Star Music Resort or Art of Animation Resort.
If you require just 2 beds for the 4 adults, here are my top picks in each resort category:
For Value Level accommodations, Pop Century is a perfect choice with direct transportation to the parks. Accommodations here include 2 double beds per room. At the Moderate Level, my top pick is Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter with 2 queen beds per room. If your budget allows, a great pick in the Deluxe category is Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Also with 2 queen beds, it's located close to Magic Kingdom which is just a short boat ride away. Finally, at the top of the list located right on the monorail line and walking distance to Magic Kingdom, would be Disney's Contemporary Resort.
I'd love to hear from you again if you have more questions Garra. Wishing you a simply Magical time as you plan your visit to Walt Disney World!
