    What are some other activities for an 8 year old boy such as pirate league?

    Hi Jane! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    I think that traveling with an eight year old will be a great time. I know that you mentioned the Pirates League and for our family that experience was so amazing. We loved that the adults can be transformed into Pirates right alongside the kids. We all laughed and have memories from this experience that will last us a lifetime.  

    If he is into adventure you can make a plan to tackle all of the mountains in Magic Kingdom Park. You may want to take him to Hollywood Studios and experience The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror or have a competition going to see who will win on Toy Story Midway Mania!

    One of the other “extra” events that I really love is the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage. Your adventure starts at Disney’s contemporary Resort where you will get to snack on ice cream, popcorn, hot and cold beverages and my favorite Pirate Punch! You will be in for a real treat when Mr. Smee and Captain Hook come to meet their new recruits. As you enjoy some tales on your cruise your Captain will find the perfect spot to view the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular and if weather permits, you will even get a great view of the Electrical Water Pageant.
