    What activities require booking

Ahoy there, Briann. Welcome to planDisney!

It looks like you’ll soon be sailing on a magical Disney cruise. I bet you’re getting excited and counting down to Embarkation Day. As you get ready for your sailing, there are some fun onboard activities that require advance reservations.

Adults-Only Dining: We always try to do a brunch on sea day at Palo. Or if we’re celebrating a milestone, we look forward to an exclusive, gourmet dinner at Remy, Enchanté or Palo Steakhouse. Reservations are required to dine at the adults-only restaurants, and this can be done when your advance booking window opens.

Fun Onboard Activities: While there are countless activities onboard to keep adults and little ones entertained throughout your sailing, some require advance reservations and may have additional fees. Royal Court Royalty Tea, Olaf’s Royal Picnic and Adventure Tea with Royalty are popular, immersive activities for families to experience together. If you're interested in meeting the many beloved princesses all in one place, Royal Gathering is a must-do! Adults can indulge and learn about various spirits, wines and beers at Beverage Tasting Seminars. Another popular experience onboard is Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, which turns into Pirates League on Pirates Night!

Other things that require booking in advance include “it’s a small world” nursery!, as well as treatments at Senses Spa & Salon, Hook’s Barbery, and Untangled Salon. There are some services and specialized classes at the Fitness Center that require appointments too.

If you’re interested in excursions and exploring the ports of call, I also encourage you to sign up for Port Adventures in advance. Each port has numerous excursions available. Whether you’re seeking thrill and excitement or prefer a laid-back, relaxing outing, there’s something for everyone.

I hope this information is helpful for you as you continue to plan your upcoming cruise. Please feel free to sail by planDisney again if you have more questions for us.

Hope to SEA ya real soon,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
