Are there any activities I can book for a Pre-schooler to enjoy on Disney Wonder Sydney 28 Dec 23 - 3 Jan 24? In the plans& activities there is very little information, I don't yet know which night will be pirate theme or NYE activities

    Ahoy, Shane!

There will be plenty of fun on your Disney Magic at Sea Cruise. Once you board, open the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for the latest schedule of events, activities, and entertainment. I’m happy to help you discover activities that your preschooler might enjoy.

Currently, your cruise is scheduled for three nights of fireworks! Friday is Pirate Night. Guests are encouraged to wear pirate apparel. You can practice your “Arrgghh’s” and "Yo-Ho's” as you enjoy pirate-themed activities all around the ship. My son loved the Pirate crafts. When the sun begins to set, head to the upper decks to see the starlit sky come alive with fireworks. Saturday, there’s a new nighttime spectacular, “Heroes Unite,” with special effects, stunts, and pyrotechnics. Your little one might enjoy dressing up like a superhero to help defeat the "bad guys." You can ring in the New Year with another dazzling fireworks display on Sunday.

Imagination takes center stage in the Disney youth clubs, and best of all, reservations are not required. Disney’s Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab are two dedicated spaces for children ages 3-12. Whether your preschooler wants to play in Andy’s room or join the Avengers, the clubs offer a treasure trove of activities. I recommend attending Open House hours in the youth clubs on the first day to explore the incredible spaces together. The app will list all the activities in the clubs so your preschooler can pick and choose what they would like to do.

My family has always enjoyed the Broadway-quality musicals in the Walt Disney Theatre. The theatre doors open approximately 30 minutes before showtime. When my son was younger, we would have him change into his pajamas before the shows. If he fell asleep during the performance, my husband could carry him back to the room and put him right to bed.

I wish you smooth sailing ahead! Here at planDisney, we are all hands on deck, ready to help you plan your exciting holiday. If you have any additional questions, please see us again.
