What does Active mean beside Disney Magic Bands on My Disney Experience?

    Howdy Diane!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel again! We're always here to help with your Disney planning!

When looking at your list of MagicBands within My Disney Experience, they are either listed as active or inactive. Active means that that particular MagicBand is ready to be used during your Walt Disney World vacation. If you'd like, you can change the status of any MagicBand that you don't plan to use to inactive until you are ready to use it again. Any active MagicBands can be used to enter the theme parks, upload PhotoPass pictures, and enter the FastPass+ lines. If you're staying at a resort, your MagicBand can be used to open your resort room door and to make purchases.

Diane, if you've got more Disney planning questions, please come back and visit with us again soon. Oh and if you want to add more MagicBands to your collection, visit the shopDisney parks website or mobile app!

    Happy planning,
