Hiya, Deborah, and thanks for bringing your question to
planDisney!
I hope you’ve been enjoying a fabulous year as a
Magic Key holder! It sounds like you’re almost within your 30-day renewal window before your Magic Key expires. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to make park reservations beyond your expiration date until you’ve completed your Magic Key renewal. At that point, you’ll be able to start making reservations with your renewed Magic Key. I understand how hard it can be to wait for your window to open, especially with how busy the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort can be. Hang in there, Deborah, and hopefully your desired dates will still be available when it’s your turn to renew!
As soon as you’re within your 30-day window, you can go ahead and navigate to
Disneyland.com/renew to start the renewal process. You’ll be prompted to sign into your Disney account, and then you’ll be directed to the renewal page. There, you’ll see your Magic Key, along with the Magic Key types that are currently available for renewal. So, you can choose to upgrade or downgrade your Magic Key, depending on which passes are available at that time.
Last but not least, if you happen to have any reservations between now and November 10, 2022, you won’t want to miss some Magic Key-holder exclusive Disney PhotoPass Magic Shot photo opportunities! You can find a Steamboat Willie-themed shot in Disney California Adventure Park located under Silly Symphony Swings, and a Mr. Toad-themed shot in Disneyland Park across from the Matterhorn Bobsleds. Both of these Magic Shots include a complimentary download just for Magic Key holders! Stay tuned to

Wishing you magic,
Kristin
