I am active duty, but my spouse is retired Military. My parents would like to go on a Disney cruise with us, and my dad is a veteran with Service coonected disability with the VA. Would we be able to book 2 rooms with military rate for my parents?

    Yo ho, yo ho, Gabrielle,

First of all, I would like to express my profound gratitude to you and your entire family. I have worked closely with many members of the U.S. Military and have caught a glimpse of the sacrifice and dedication it takes for individuals and families like you to serve to bless and protect our nation. You are amazing.

The Special US Military Rates offered to eligible passengers is a special way that the Disney Cruise Line offers their gratitude to service members as well. Up to one stateroom per eligible US military service member. At least one adult in each stateroom must show valid proof of military service to participate in this program. Proof of military service must be in the form of currently valid active duty or retired military ID. Or in the case of 100% permanently disabled veterans, a valid military ID that includes the DAVPRM status printed on it is also accepted. Unfortunately, veterans with a DD214 Form are not eligible for the special military rates.

Sailing aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship together is a fantastic way to travel. I wonder if some of the upcoming sailings from Galveston aboard the Disney Magic might be convenient and interesting for you. We sailed on the Disney Magic in July and absolutely loved our experience. Also, if you don’t happen to see a sailing that works for you and your parents on the current list of sailings eligible for special military rates, I recommend checking back frequently. New sailings are added regularly.

I hope you have a magical time sailing aboard the Disney Cruise Line, Gabrielle.
