Hi Susan! Welcome to planDisney.
Thank you for your service to our country. As a military spouse, I know just how important family vacations are, and there is no place I'd rather spend our magical R&R than at the Walt Disney World Resort. It's a pleasure to help you with your question.
I'm happy to report that your mother is welcome to call on your behalf to inquire about the
military discount on select Disney Resorts Collection Hotel rooms. She can reach a Cast Member by calling (407) 939-7830. While she may make reservations on your behalf, you will need to show your military ID upon check-in, so be sure to bring it with you. You will also need your military ID to activate
Military Promotional Theme Park Tickets.
Susan, I noticed that you are planning a 2022 visit to Walt Disney World Resort. At this time, military discounts for 2022 have not yet been released. The current discounts are available through December 17, 2021, and we're all eagerly awaiting news about next year. While we've had ticket and room discounts consistently for the past several years, a discount for next year is never guaranteed until it's announced, so keep an eye on the
Special Offers webpage and the
Disney Parks Blog for news.
You're welcome to make reservations at the regular rate for your visit dates while you wait for a military discount announcement. Many Guests, including me, do this to ensure they have accommodations for their vacation. Once the military discount is announced, you (or your mother) can then call and ask about availability for your dates and can modify your reservation if there's availability. Just keep in mind that there may not be availability at the same resort hotel for the dates you booked, so you may need to change resort hotels or stick with the standard rate. Flexibility is key with the military discount on resort hotel rooms.
I hope this helps! If you have further questions about military discounts, you or your mother are welcome to
reach out to me directly. It's always a pleasure to help a fellow military family with their Disney dreaming.
Wishing you much magic,
Robyn
