Hiya Naja,
Welcome to planDisney! As the child of a retired Air Force Colonel, I have fond memories of visiting Walt Disney Resort with my family thanks to the
Military Salute Tickets. Without them, I probably wouldn’t have been able to afford to visit the Theme Parks at this time, so I’m so glad that the special offer still exists today!
Eligible Service Members (active or retired members of the US Military and their spouses) are able to purchase up to six Theme Park tickets a year at the special offer rate. These tickets can be shared with family and friends, but at least one of the six Theme Park tickets must be used by the eligible Service Member or their spouse. There is an exception to this; however, if the service member or spouse has a valid
Walt Disney World Annual Pass at the time of purchase and use, then the Eligible Service Member can purchase no more than five total tickets to be shared. Additionally, the service member (or spouse) Naja must accompany their family or friends and show their valid and active US Military IDs to activate the tickets.
I hope I answered your question, Naja, but if you need additional assistance, please come back and see
me or anyone else on the panel. Before I let you go, if you do end up using the Military Salute Tickets, take advantage of the current offer to get the 2025 Disney Military Salute Tickets at the same price they were in 2024. If you purchase your tickets before February 1st, you can save $30, which will be great for snacks during your upcoming trip (my favorite snack is the Pineapple Crisp Sundae at
Tamu Tamu Refreshments at Disney’s Animal Kingdom)!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
