Hi Moms! We have a very active almost 2yr old who needs space to play. Can you recommend any open play areas that parents/grandparents can supervise at WDW? Are there rides that he will be able to go on? Thanks so much!

    Hello Melissa!

Thank you for making a magical stop at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I certainly understand having ambitious little ones--if only we could bottle a little of that energy, right?  Luckily, there are plenty of attractions to keep them busy at the Walt Disney World Resort and even a couple of my kid's all time favorite play-areas.

Sometimes kids just need to play and two of my family's favorite adventure areas are the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure and The Boneyard.  Your 2-year-old will have so much fun climbing, sliding and exploring these wonderfully themed areas. On to your other concern, there are so many attractions and experiences he will be able to experience with you.  For the list of rides perfect for your little prince and some more great planning information designed with his age in mind, visit Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones.  Of course, should you have any other questions or concerns, please let me know.

Have a wonderful vacation and enjoy your planning.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
