Hello and welcome to planDisney, Thomas!
Isn't it exciting that the sale of new
Walt Disney World annual passes has opened back up? I know so many people have waited quite some time to join the passholder family. I've been a Walt Disney World annual passholder for years now and can honestly say, it is well worth the investment. Activation of a new annual pass occurs the first time you use it to enter a Walt Disney World Theme Park. After your initial activation, you have 365 days to use your pass. After your pass is activated, you'll be able to see your actual expiration date under your ticket in your MyDisneyExperiece account.
With the release of new annual passes last week, we did see a few changes to the program. Now, out-of-state Guests like you and I are able to purchase the Disney Incredi-pass. The new
Disney Incredi-Pass offers 365 days of magic with no blockout dates. You'll also be able to hold up to 5 park pass reservations at a time without a Disney resort stay. This is a welcomed change. Previously, we've been able to hold only 3 and it makes a long weekend at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks difficult. Also, with your Disney Incredi-Pass you'll receive complimentary theme park parking and discounts on food, merchandise and select resort stays. You can also add on the use of the
Disney PhotoPass for the entire year or a Water Park and Sports package for an additional fee. It's customizable in that way, which I really like.
If you haven't already, I hope you do consider becoming a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder. It's really fun to be able to visit the Walt Disney World Theme Parks basically whenever you'd like! It will make for a magical and memorable year. If you have any other questions about the Walt Disney World Annual Pass program or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have a great day!
