Do I have to activate my PhotoPass photos first, before I can edit frames and etc on pictures? I know there is no option online, but my disney mobile app doesn’t have an edit feature on it either, even when I click on a specific photo.

Hi, Hannah!  Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

It sounds like you may have recently returned from a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort.  If so, I hope that your vacation was practically perfect in every way and that you are now enjoying reliving your magical memories by looking through your pictures from Disney PhotoPass Service.  I know that Memory Maker is always my favorite Walt Disney World Resort souvenir because having unlimited downloads of my photos lets me relive all of those special vacation moments for yEARs to come.

Disney PhotoPass Service has a beautiful, recently updated website.  After the website was updated, a lot of guests were noticing some changes in the editing options for their photos.  At this time, the editing options such as borders and stickers are no longer available on the Disney PhotoPass Service website.  However, guests who use Apple products have still been able to edit their photos and add borders and stickers when using their My Disney Experience mobile app.  The last I heard, this option was not yet available to Android users.

If you have an iPhone or iPad, you should be able to edit your Disney PhotoPass images.  To edit and add some  magical touches to your pictures, go to the "Photos" section on your My Disney Experience mobile app and click on the photo that you wish to edit.  You should see a button marked "Edit" under your picture.  When you click "Edit," you will see options to crop, filter, and add stickers and borders to your photo.  If you have an Android phone, I would recommend you keep checking back to see if the editing features are added to your app.

If you are still experiencing difficulty with your photos, feel free to call the Help Center phone number for Disney PhotoPass Service to speak with a Cast Member.  I'm sure they will be able to get everything sorted out for you quicker than you can say, "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!"

    Have a magical day!
