Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kathryn!
Arriving to my Walt Disney World Resort vacation a few days early sounds like a dream come true, and I hope your question means that you have a
Disney Vacation Package booked and are about to visit the place “Where Dreams Come True” very soon!
Because there are many different types of Disney theme park
tickets and vacation packages, and I want you to get the most accurate and helpful answer, my advice is to reach out to a Reservations Cast Member at (407) 939-1936.
Most Walt Disney World Resort tickets are now date-based, and in the case of a vacation package, the ticket start date is the resort hotel check-in date. I spoke to a Cast Member, who said it might not be a problem to activate your tickets a few days early, but that you may have to pay the difference if your new start date’s ticket price is higher than the check-in date’s ticket price. To be sure you understand the usage rules around your particular ticket, please contact Reservations – it would not be magical to arrive a few days early and not be able to use your tickets.
If you’ve been reading the
Disney Parks Blog, you know that there are so many amazing things going on around the theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs, and I can’t wait for your magic to begin.
Now, more than ever, it’s a fantastic time to visit Walt Disney World, and I hope you have the best time on your visit. Please come back and see us if you have any more questions as you plan and dream!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
