Hiya, Judith! I'm so excited about your upcoming trip to
Walt Disney World Resort. I've got the same countdown clock, so I know the thrill you must be feeling. I cannot wait!
Lights! Camera! Action! I am glad to hear you have already purchased
Memory Maker. For me, it is my chance to put the camera away and be in the photos with my family. I added it to my Annual Pass a few years ago and now cannot imagine a trip without it.
When you are in Walt Disney World Resort, you can access your
Disney PhotoPass pictures on the
My Disney Experience app. Just open the main menu (the "≡"), scroll to "Disney PhotoPass," and select "Photo Gallery." Tap on a photo and follow the prompts to activate Memory Maker.
Memory Maker includes all your Disney PhotoPass photos taken within 30 days of activation. One tip I've learned: you do not have to activate it on Day 1 to get all the photos from your trip, but be sure to pick a picture from your first day when you activate your pass.
Now, to make the most of your Disney PhotoPass, ask your photographer for Magic Shots. Typically, they will take some classic shots and then ask you to draw upon your acting skills. Follow their directions, like looking surprised or holding your hand in a particular pose. When you check your Photo Gallery, you may find pictures with extra character!
I also love
Tiny World and
Super Zoom Magic Shots. These are available in certain locations at each of the theme parks. You can ask PhotoPass photographers or other Cast Members to help you on your quest to find these picture-perfect locations.
I hope you have a trip sprinkled with Pixie Dust and magic. Please come back to
planDisney if you have any other questions as you put the finishing touches on your vacation planning.
Say Cheese!
