As a fellow
Disney Vacation Club Member, I'm a big fan of the
Membership Magic Beyond program. It offers a number of great benefits to your Membership, including priority access to the DVC
Member Lounges, specially-priced theme park tickets, and more! We added it last year before a big family trip, and the 30-day
Memory Maker entitlement really sealed the deal for me. It allows you to get all of the photos and videos from your Disney vacation captured by the
Disney PhotoPass photographers, including Character experiences and attraction photos.
I definitely understand wanting to make sure that Memory Maker is saved for your longer trip in December! I checked with Guest Services, and they said that you can get a 1-day Memory Maker for your October trip. You can purchase it in advance and wait until the day is over to activate, or wait until you take your first picture and
then purchase the 1-day product. If you want to be extra-sure that you don't activate the 30-day option, you can always visit the Town Square Theater just inside the
Magic Kingdom entrance. There's a PhotoPass desk there, and the Cast Members will be happy to lend a helping hand!
Speaking of photos, don't forget that your Membership Magic Beyond package also includes a Members-only Character experience! This typically takes place in the EPCOT Member Lounge - be sure to check once you arrive at Walt Disney World for the most current information.
