Hello and welcome to planDisney, June. I'm so glad you've stopped by to chat about Walt Disney World Annual Passes.
I've been a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder for years now, June, and I really love the program. Over the years my family and I have enjoyed hopping in the car for an impromptu long weekend at Walt Disney World that we probably wouldn't have done had we not had Annual Passes. Being Passholders, we've really made memories that will last a lifetime.
June, your Walt Disney World Annual Pass is activated the first time you use it to enter a
Walt Disney World Theme Park. If you've already purchased your pass and linked it to your MyDisneyExperience account, you may be seeing an expiration date from the date that you purchased it. This is the amount of time that you have to actually activate your pass. Once you use your Walt Disney World Annual Pass for the first time, activating it, you will see a new expiration date reflected on your account. After activation, you will have 365 days of pure magic ahead of you!
If you don't activate your Walt Disney World Annual Pass in the year timeframe that you are given, that's okay. What you'll do is actually apply that unused annual pass toward the purchase of a new one and the countdown will start again. If the cost of Walt Disney World Annual Passes increases in that timeframe, you'll only need to pay the difference.
June, I do hope you love using your Walt Disney World Annual Pass as much as I do. It really does bring me so much joy. If you haven't already, head over to the all-new
planDisney Instagram account and follow along. Over there you'll see panelists in the parks and maybe pick up a tip or trick to use on your next Walt Disney World vacation.
If you have any other questions about the Walt Disney World Annual Pass program or anything else, please feel free to
come back and ask me. I'm here to help.
Have fun and enjoy!
