Can I actavate my magic band at my hotel or do I have to wait to get to the park?

    Hello, Marjorie!

Thank you for asking us another question! Since you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you will receive complementary solid-color MagicBands that are already activated when they arrive. The magical news is that they are linked to your Resort Reservation via My Disney Experience and ready to use when you visit.

Be sure to take advantage of Online Check-In so that you can expedite your check-in process. You can link a credit card and create a PIN to allow MagicBand charging privileges as well as add room requests and note the approximate time of your arrival. If you wish to receive text messages to let you know when your resort room is ready, you can do that too! I hope this helps with your planning! Please let us know if you have additional questions!

Wishing you a magical vacation with your family!
