Hello across the pond! We're a family of 5 coming to disneynext Tuesday. I didn't make any restaurant reservations as I didn't know they came out so early. I feel so annoyed. Will it ruin our days? Ps my boys are 7, 8 and 9 so not babies :)

Hiya Leanne - welcome to planDisney!

I'm so glad you stopped by with your question for our team of panelists. We love to help Guests just like you plan your very own, very magical, Walt Disney World Resort holidays!

I'm so jealous that you'll be visiting next week - how exciting! I know it can be disappointing to have a planning hiccup, but I'm here to let you know that everything will be just fine. In fact, it's going to be pretty darn magical!

Advance Dining Reservations can be made starting 60 days prior to arrival, and while many Guests do make reservations on that day, there are plenty of us who don't. If you know what days or times you want to have a Table Service meal, or the specific restaurants you want to experience, I recommend that you keep checking for availability. Right now, the week before your trip, is usually when we start to see more availability pop up as other Guests start changing their plans. With most reservations having a 24-hour cancellation policy, you're also likely to notice quite a bit of last minute availability too! Some locations also offer Mobile Dine Walk-Up Availability, space permitting.

Now, let me also say that I've had phenomenal trips to Walt Disney World without ever stepping foot inside a Table Service restaurant. There are TONS of other options, and I can assure you that Mickey won't let anyone in your crew go hungry! Nearly all Quick Service dining locations offer convenient Mobile Ordering through the My Disney Experience Mobile App, while still offering great dining spaces for you to enjoy a meal or a snack. Plus, over at EPCOT, you'll be surrounded by delicious food at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. The walk-up festival booths feature delicious bites and sips from around the world - it's one of my favorite experiences!

So, the moral of the story is that nothing is ruined, and you're still on track for an extra magical experience next week. Just be a bit flexible, ask Cast Members for advice or help when you need it, and I guarantee that no one will go hungry!
