how accurate is the online dining reservation service? If I book a reservation online I wont go to the restraunt and then be told that I never made the reservation will I ?

    Hi Sheri,

I have made dining reservations many times by using the online reservation system or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.  I've never had a problem with either method that I've used.

I am one of those that likes to cover all my bases just in case.  Before I leave for my trip, I always print out a list of all my reservations for the week including my confirmation numbers and have them handy when I've arrived for my reservations.  However, I've never had to even give them a confirmation number.  They've always had my name on the reservation list at every restaurant I've dined.

You can usually keep track of hotel and dining reservations online.  On the Disney World Resort homepage, you'll see "My Disney Vacation" next to the small orange suitcase icon near the top left side. Click on "My Reservations".  If you don't see the reservations listed, click on  "Update Reservations".  If they don't come up, you can also try adding them by clicking on "Retrieve Reservations".  You'll need your confirmations numbers to do this.  If you still don't see them, don't panic - they are still there.  If you want an extra peace of mind, you can also confirm any dining reservations made online by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
