How accurate are the height charts? My son is 43" tall without shoes and 44" tall with shoes -which by being 44" he would be able to go on more rides, right? What do you guys think? Should we focus on planning to see the 40" rides?

    Hi Heather,

Height requirements are a really big deal in our house!  I would have to say that the measurement posts are fairly accurate.  If your son is a solid 44" with his shoes on, than you should have no problems.  Just be sure to direct him to stand tall!

If he is barely there or borderline, I would be sure to not talk up those attraction too much until you are certain he will be permitted to ride.  We have had many disappointed faces when my kids were turned away from attractions.  We have actually put marks on our basement wall indicating various attractions height requirements so the kids have a good indication what their chances are prior to leaving for vacation.  This is a great incentive to get them to drink their milk!
