I have accumulated several disney gift cards over the past year, and I was wondering if there is a way to cash them in at check-in and add the gift card money to our magic bands for purchases? Is there a limit on how many cards you can add to a magic band

    Hello Katherine!
I am a big fan of the Disney Gift Cards and like you, I collect them throughout the year. Recently, disneygiftcard.com added a "manage my cards" feature that allows you to put all of your gift cards on one card. This has made using the gift cards for vacation a snap!

While you can't actually add the cards to your MagicBands, you can use them to pay your room charge balance. For example, we do online check-in the typical way- providing a credit card for charging purposes. However, our debit or charge card never get charged because we stop by the desk every couple days and pay our current balance with our Disney Gift Card. Just remember to stop by before you hit your prescribed limits.  You can check with your Resort hotel to find out their current threshold for charging before they apply the balance to your card.

I hope this helps with your planning.  See ya real soon!
