Hello Phillip, and welcome to planDisney!
Thank you for bringing your question to us today. I am so sorry to hear that you are having some difficulties with My Disney Experience. Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope must have wandered off into My Family & Friends again. Let’s see if Fix-It Felix and I can assist you in troubleshooting your issues.
Log in to My Disney Experience from a laptop or computer and click on the
My Family & Friends tab. Scroll to find your daughter on your list. If you do not see her, you will need to reconnect her to your list. Scroll down and select
+Add a Guest and follow the prompts to add her through y
our connected Guests or enter her name, age, and email to send her an invitation to connect. Be sure that you are sharing all your plans with her. Once she accepts your invitation, you will be able to plan together. If she is already on your list, select
Update next to her name and choose to share “
All My Plans” and then save. This will allow you both to see and share each other’s plans. You will still have the ability to make your plans if you wish, or you can let your daughter continue to plan for the entire group, or you can share planning duties.
If you are seeing “
Plans managed by your daughter’s name” this simply means your daughter owns the My Disney Experience accounts of these family members. They probably do not manage their accounts and your daughter handles all of their plans for them. If you are seeing “
Plans managed by” with no name, that means you are not connected to the person who manages the plans of these family members, but you are connected to them. As long as someone in your travel party is linking their tickets and making their
park pass reservations, they will be able to make Genie+ selections for them as well. I manage the accounts for several of my family members because they do not want the responsibility of finalizing their plans, they give me input but leave all the planning duties to me.
Hopefully, this solves your issue and has sent Wreck-it Ralph and Vanellope back to their part of the internet. If you are still having issues connecting to your daughter, you may want to seek the help of a Cast Member, instead of waiting on Fix-It Felix. You can reach out to a member of the
My Disney Experience and MagicBands team at (407) 939-4357.
If you need any more assistance with planning your upcoming trip, please come back and visit us again.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
