Welcome to planDisney, Da!
I'm sorry to hear that life didn't go as planned and you missed visiting Disneyland Resort on a few of your park reservation dates. It's frustrating when life gets in the way of fun!
It sounds like you know that Magic Key holders who have three "no-shows" within a 90-day window are placed into a penalty status. This means they are unable to make or modify park reservations for 30 days. According to the
Magic Key No-Show Policy, the 30-day period begins the day after the third no-show, and will continue even if the pass is upgraded to another pass type or renewed during that time. Unfortunately, it looks like you will just have to wait for that 30-day time period to end and renew your pass during your renewal period (if available) if you would like to continue with the Magic Key program. I wish I had better news!
In the future, you can avoid penalty periods by entering your reserved theme park at any time before the park closes on the reserved day, or by modifying or canceling an existing park reservation by 11:59 PM, Pacific Time, the day before your reservation. Reservations are subject to availability and blockout dates.
I hope you decide to renew your Magic Key pass! There are many
exciting events and offerings planned for 2024. The
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival kicks off on March 1, 2024, which will overlap with the beginning of the Star Wars celebration, Season of the Force, on April 5, 2024. I can't wait to see Space Mountain transformed into Hyperspace Mountain again!
Da, I'm sorry this isn't the answer you were looking for. If you have more questions, please reach out to us again at planDisney!
