    If my account is under my nickname but my ID is my full legal name will I still be able to get my ticket?

    Hello Dom, and thanks for stopping by planDisney with such an important question for us!

    Firstly, I'd like to reassure you that in my own personal experience, I really don't believe that you'll encounter any difficulties when having a small difference in the name associated with your My Disney Experience account to that of your official ID.

    To fully explain to you Dom, all my friends know me as Jane, and that's the name associated with my own My Disney Experience account.  However, my full legal name on my photo ID is actually Elizabeth Jane!  But, I'm more than happy to share that Cast Members have always been pleased to accommodate that difference in name, and in doing so I've never encountered any difficulties when collecting Disney Theme Park Tickets, or when checking into a Disney Resorts Collection hotel.

    Dom, I thought that it may be useful for you to know that these are the current forms of photo ID that are acceptable at Walt Disney World Resort -

     - Drivers Licence 
     - Government-issued passport
     - Government-issued photo ID
     - Active military ID
