Hiya Justin,
Welcome to planDisney! What a great question!
Memory Maker is one thing I always have to have for every vacation. I have two little Mouseketeers under the age of four, so it is so important to me to capture every moment that I can because I swear I blink and they are bigger.
One of my favorite things about Memory Maker (and the reason that my Prince Charming doesn’t complain too much when I add it to the cart) is that anyone linked to your
Family and Friends list (up to 25 people) can have their photos included under a Memory Maker package. This is true even if the holder of the Memory Maker isn’t in the photo! My Prince Charming, for example, does not have Memory Maker, but I often find photos that he has taken with our toddler around the theme parks while I’m waiting in line for snacks or changing our son in a
Baby Care Center. Another person whose photos I find in my gallery is our good friend who is local to the theme parks. Any time they go to Walt Disney World and take a photo, those photos are linked to my Memory Maker, and they can download them for free since they are linked under my account (even when I’m sitting in my living room in Texas). Just make sure that you are allowing your sister to view your Disney PhotoPass photos, and that is it.
I hope this was helpful, Justin! Before I let you go, don’t forget to download your photos before they expire (which is 45 days from when they were captured). While your sister’s photos are retained longer because they are linked to her Annual Pass, yours will expire after 45 days, so you will want to make sure to download before the magic sweeps them away. Please come back and see us if you have any additional questions!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
