    I have account on my disney experience for me & my husband. does my husband need to set up his own account to link his magicband+, book ride, etc? I heard it helps if family try to book the ride on genie+ together to get best time available

    Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation countdown is in the single digits - hot diggity dog! If you haven't met Mickey Mouse in dreamland yet, he's coming. That dream becomes a reality when you Meet Mickey and Minnie at Town Square Theater in Magic Kingdom Park.

    Each Guest over the age of three currently requires valid admission, a theme park reservation for each park day, and a method of entry (MagicBand, MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile pass, or admission card) for theme park entry. Each of these vacation entitlements must be linked to an individual in My Disney Experience. Guests can either have their own account or an account profile managed by another person's account. I understand you currently have your own My Disney Experience account and your husband has an account profile managed by you. Please confirm this by taking a look at your Family and Friends List in My Disney Experience. Your husband's name should appear along with the words "Plans managed by me." There is no need to change this setup unless your husband would like to actively make plans using the My Disney Experience mobile app on your park days. Let me explain.

    With your current setup, you can make all plans for your husband in your My Disney Experience mobile app. You can seamlessly link his MagicBand+, purchase Disney Genie+ service, make both Genie+ Lightning Lane and Individual Lightning Lane reservations for him, and more. That's because you are connected as Family and Friends, not because he has or doesn't have his own account. When you click to purchase Disney Genie+ service the morning of a park day via the Tip Board of your My Disney Experience mobile app, for example, you confirm your party by selecting any other eligible members from your Family and Friends list. 

    Top Tip: I recommend purchasing Disney Genie+ service by 6:45 a.m. so you can be on your Tip Board (three small lines at the bottom right of the app --> Tip Board) ready to book your first Genie+ Lightning Lane reservation at 7:00 a.m. sharp. 

    For reference, I currently manage My Disney Experience account profiles for my children and my parents. My children are too young to have their own accounts and my parents prefer that I handle all of their reservation needs.

    I hope this information confirms that you're on track with planning and executing a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation, Jiratiporn. If your husband decides he really wants to be involved in the planning, let me know and I'll provide you with the next steps for creating his own My Disney Experience account and merging it with his existing account profile.
