Hi Sherley! A warm welcome to planDisney to you! I'm happy to answer your question today.
Ah, summertime at the
Walt Disney World Resort! There's so much summertime fun to be had at the resort, you're bound to have a magical time. On the top of my summertime to-do list at the resort?
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. I have actually never been to one of the
water parks so I
have to get there soon! After all, what better way is there to cool off on a hot summer day?
Sometimes resort reservations don't automatically transfer to your
My Disney Experience mobile app, especially if they were booked on someone else's account. If this is the case, simply open up the app, click on the three horizontal lines at the bottom right-hand corner, and select "Future Plans." You may have to scroll to the bottom of the page if you have a lot of plans, but you're looking for the "Link to Account" button. Toward the top of this screen, click on "Type ID." Under "Resort Reservation," type in the confirmation number and the last name on the reservation. This should link your
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel reservation to your Future Plans.
You also want to make sure that you and your husband are connected through the
My Family & Friends page. If you haven't done this, go to the page and select "Add a Guest" and follow the prompts. Even if you've already done this, it's important that next to each Guest, you click "Update" and select "All My Plans" if you want to be able to see everyone's plans. Sometimes when making
advanced dining reservations, people don't specify the Guests that will be going with them to the dining reservation. If this is the case, it won't show up in your Future Plans if you only have "Only Our Shared Plans" selected.
Sherley, if these solutions don't help, you can always
call a friendly Cast Member to assist you. They truly are the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort and are always happy to help! Speaking of which, if you have any other questions,
please feel free to reach out again.
Soarin’ to tower, we are ready for takeoff,
Matt
