Port Orleans Resort French Quarter Pool

    According to the website the pool at French Quarter is under construction until beginning 2024. Are there any updates on when the pool is reopen? Hoping before the end of April which is when we arrive! Thanks

    Hello Meghan!

    Welcome back to planDisney! Your magical countdown is hopefully going by quickly as you are, I am sure, excitedly waiting for your Walt Disney World Resort visit to be here already. Your adventure to the Most Magical Place on Earth will be here before you know it. Hooray!

    Alas, I do not have a guaranteed end date, but there is hope in seeing that the routine maintenance for the Doubloon Lagoon Pool at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is still showing estimated completion to be the end of April. My fingers are crossed that pixie dust will prevail and your family will be able to enjoy the pool on your April visit. 

    If completion is delayed, don't worry as the Ol' Man Island pool complex at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is only a splash away and so much fun. My sister and I stayed at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside just last fall and really enjoyed the area. There's a whirlpool, a 95-foot water slide and even rushing waterfalls! You'll also find pool activities and other recreation experiences to enjoy.

    While we are talking about Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, no trip is complete without a visit to Scat Cat's Club for some fresh Mickey-shaped Beignets. They are so delicious!
